I am high-energy; a lover of life, people, ideas, creativity, change, and travel; I try to be present in every moment, release judgements, and not be too hard on myself. Life is a precious and mysterious gift of which I am in awe every day - even the bad ones.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe...
that we should think globally and act locally

that we should be open to the urges that motivate us, and let those urges move us to help the world

that "be the change you wish to see in the world" is hard to practice, but more essential than any other philosophy

that "hate" is the dirtiest word

that the world is a beautiful place, and that the most evil people here are the ones need love the most

that we should never let another man bring us so far down that we start to hate him

that we are all the same thing, only our shape and form appear different

that we should never criticize or judge - everyone is fighting some battle

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been to a few meet-ups and also stay in touch with my past CS hosts. Some are friends now! I also love to talk to others about CS, directing them to the website and telling them what it is all about and about my experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my CS experiences have been enjoyable, of course some more-so than others. I have never been able to host, but my hosts have all been informative, friendly, and hospitable.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: I love live shows and go as often as possible. I am really into bluegrass and folk. Some of the artists that I am really into are: Forest Sun, Trampled by Turtles, Ani DiFranco, Patti Griffin, Townes Van Zandt, and Justin Townes Earle, to name a VERY few!

Books: Confederacy of Dunces, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, and the Tao de Ching are three of my favorites.

I once sat and watched buffalo during rutting season in Yellowstone for five hours.

I have seen a lightning storm from an airplane.

I was a crew member for a month on "The World by Road Expedition" that circumnavigated the globe in 2 trucks over the span of 3 years.
