ABOUT ME

I am a fun loving kid in an adult body! HaHa! I am in a committed monogamous relationship with a woman. I am an on again/ off again vegan. I am an extrovert who also loves quiet time alone. I am an early riser (I'm usually up between 4-6am). But I won't disturb you. I generally like to be silent during before 9am... then... I'm available to the woooorrrrlllld!

I LOVE DOGS! Cats are cool too :)

What surprises people most about me is that I am a veteran.

I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I prefer not to be in environments where that's happening. I love the sweet natural high I get from being in good company eating great food and dancing.

Interests

What excites my soul most is: DANCING! Then FOOD! I also like to go for walks & attend Feldenkrais classes.

I love the patterns of language, mosaics and quilts. I love the rain, uplifting and/or funny movies, stained glass, ethnic foods, the smell, feel & look of wood, aspen trees, weeping willow trees & pussy willows, culinary herbs, food art, ice sculptures, cathedrals, MINI Coopers, the smell of sweet grass, autumn, travel, the color green, artisan earrings, celebrations, festivals, ceremonies, my birthday (Halloween), my dreads, homemade dinners with friends & family, animals and most of all the ocean!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced: Twice I was playing in the ocean when torrential rains fell and stirred the waters in an outrageous way! The fish came to the surface the pelicans swarmed around and dove down to eat, the rain was freezing and the tropical waters were warm...it was exhilarating!

Done: I fostered a 2 year old golden retriever from the humane society who was pregnant and VERY sick. The vets cautioned, "don't get attached, she's not going to make it, our goal is to try to keep her alive long enough to save the pups." I didn't believe that had to be her fate. I studied about food & herbs so I could find a way to get her the nutrients she needed to survive. She is now 15 1/2 years old! (PS the normal lifespan of a golden is 10-12 years). YAY-YER!
