ABOUT ME

Hello I'm a french guy living in Paris. I like talking with people from different countries, it's always interesting and makes me practice my English :)

I traveled a lot with couchsurfing in the past years. After a short break I thought it was time to come back!
I'm currently planning a trip to Russia and Mongolia, starting in 2 weeks!

PHILOSOPHY

I think there are two important elements in our lives: we firstly ought to enjoy as much as possible everything that the life offers to us. That is, go around the world, discover countries, their landscapes and their cultures, but also develop skills like playing music, learning art or science...
Then, we also must be thankful for what we have, and act in order to give people who are less lucky than us a better life. Get involved in a humanitarian association, in politics, donate to poor people, there are plenty of simple things to do that help to get a better world!

Piano: I like playing Chopin's pieces (only the easiest :-)
I'm involved in a humanitarian association which acts in France and in Senegal.
I enjoy indoors climbing, snowboarding, playing poker (Texas Hold'em), talking with people about philosophy and politics (although it's always a little tricky to have debates in English).
I'm currently learning how to cook things more elaborated than pasta or pizza.
More common hobbies: I like reading books, watching movies, programming (web development, and other more or less interesting C/C++ applications), having LAN parties, and riding bicycle.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My trip to Togo (Africa) was a completely amazing experience. It's like landing on a new planet, leaving our european technological civilization behind. People are so warmful and simple (in the good way). It's a story than can't really be written down but I'd be glad to tell it to you when we meet through CS..!
