Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Starting to envision a first post-lockdown trip to meet new and interesting people and to hear about their journeys -- both internal and geographic. Worth noting that I am fully vaccinated and will respect whatever precautions you require to keep your space safe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met up with travelers for meals and discussion, and look forward to hitting the road with CS. I was a member of SERVAS way back when and met great people that way.

Interests

Anything out in nature completely restores my batteries -- camping and hiking and among my favorite things. And biking is what keeps me sane. I also love watching movies and meeting new people.

Funniest: Flirting with Disaster. Classic faves: Blues Brothers, Blazing Saddles, Harold and Maude. Best war movie: Gallipoli. Favorite concert movie: Stop Making Sense. I don't know, I'm just inventing categories. I just love movies. Hard to pick favorites. But if I had to: Down by Law.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First visit to Cuba to meet family we'd been separated from all my life until that point.
