ABOUT ME

Hola amigos! My name is Katie and I am 22 years old. Currently I live in Madrid, Spain teaching english in a primary school. I just graduated the University and love to travel, meet people and laugh. I believe that life is an exiting journey in which we never stop learning, loving and growing. I am liberal in my way of thought and I think it is very important to have a diverse group of friends as well as diverse experiences. I hope I can really live my life and not just exist! I am always down to meet people so if you are coming to Madrid please write me and I can definitely show you around or we can get a cup of coffee or a drink. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host people but unfortunately I am currently traveling. When I return to New York I will definitely be hosting people. Right now in Madrid, Spain I would love to meet people for a drink or coffee. I would also love to participate in the surfing aspect of this site since I am intoxicated with the traveling bug but my budget is low jaja. I also really believe in human interconnectedness and love helping others. I want to be part of this awesome energy that exists when people help and meet eachother.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time on this site. I am so excited to try : ) Although I have never particpated in this site I have stayed with people that I have never met before in strange new lands and these experiences have been the best of my life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experience of my life was when I went to Ghana for two months and built a library with a group of villagers. It was incredible. I learned and received more from my friends in Ghana than I could have ever taught or given them. I am still growing from this experience.
