CURRENT MISSION
Make it count.
ABOUT ME
If you'd ask my sister, she'd tell you that I'm the greatest person in the world, but then again she might be just a little bit biased, being my sister. But, I'd like to think that I'm a very positive and outgoing person, kind and trustworthy. On my really good days, I can be rather funny too. I am very open-minded and tolerant. I love getting to know new people, and learn from cultures different to my own.
I enjoy rainy days if I have a HUGE cup of tea and a good book next to me, and I love to laugh so hard I can't breathe and it makes me cry. I don't get mad easily, if ever. I don't like traffic jams because they make me incredibly nervous, and I HATE elevators, because they don't just make me nervous - they scare me. I am happy with my every day life, but I do have a traveling heart that wants to go places.
PHILOSOPHY
"Be seriously involved with growing, with your own development, and never fear. Be the kind of person who is naturally powerful, positive, ingenious, open to the highest degree, but with no interest in coersion or pressure or power over other people."
- Jeff Buckley
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a surfer, I intend to treat my host as I'd like to be treated while hosting. I'll wash the dishes, and I'm not afraid to walk the dog (if you have one). As a host, I want my surfers to feel at home. While staying with me, I'll help you out as much as I possibly can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went couchsurfing for the first time in the summer of 2012 together with a friend, and it is one of the most amazing experiences I've had! It takes a leap of fatih from both sides, and we had a blast! We met amazing people and saw amazing places, and I know I wanto to have many many more experiences like it in the future. I have hosted some, and it has been interesting and so far so good!
Interests
Peace, Veggies and Wanderlust sums it up:
- international development, human rights and the well-being of the world.
- veganism - cooking the food, eating the food, living the lifestyle
- travel - the job I'd want life to give me.
Besides from that, books are awesome, and so are my friends.
