ABOUT ME

I am a very loving and easy going girl. I love learning about new cultures and learning new languages. A goal of mine is to immerse myself in a culture for long enough to pick up the language fluently. I love to travel and make new friends. I also love to share with others and teach them about my culture. I have my degree in Anthropology and film. I use to intern at National Geographic TV and Film where I gained my interest in documentary film making and I have been doing that ever since.

I have been hosted and now I am in a position where I may be able to host if my room mate agrees with the individual. So message me and I may be able to help you out on your trip. If not I certainly would be happy to show you around LA and Hollywood.

I have participated by being hosted in Europe and I have met up with people for coffee, tea, and conversation.

Interests

I spend my time searching for new information, new things to learn, and new things to share. I love good conversation and coming up with solutions to help bring positivity to places and people that need it. I love art, music, language, sports (especially soccer and lacrosse), and a good beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like hip hop, reggaeton, rock, classical, jazz, R&B, dancehall, country and more. I just enjoy good music no matter what genre it's in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I arrived in the rain forest in Belize I was in awe. I was there on an archaeological dig for my university. I had never heard sounds like that before or seen such wild animals. We had to pitch a tent to sleep and use a giant hole that was dug out for our bathroom. It was one of the most exciting experiences of my life.

The other experience is currently taking place in Haiti. I have been working on a documentary covering child trafficking and abuse. The country and the people are so beautiful. The culture is so rich and intriguing but yet there is this underlaying abuse of children under everyone's noses. This leaves me in awe.
