61 year old male, Sold my house in the Netherlands, rented a house, and am trying to start a new life in Portugal with my fiancee from the Philippines.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live, for sure, every living thing has a purpose on earth, and nothing happens in live or on earth without a reason. Experience and investigate everything what comes on your path of life, and keep what is good.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In all my trips and here at home i will look at, and include all the couchsurfing possibilities. Hope to meet a lot of new (CS-)friends and learn about the visions and cultural ways of all the people, in their own invironment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurfing experience in Davao, the Philippines. Had some nice meetings and talks with (local) Couchsurfers, and enjoyed that very much. Learned more about the CS-experiences, and made my first CS-friends.

I like to meet people from all over the world and learn about different cultures, opinions and ways of live.
I also like to share my occupational and life experiences with anybody who is interested.

Rock, blues, worldmusic, but also interested in local kinds of music. I hardly watch any movies or read any books anymore. Internet has taken that place for the mayor part now.
Internet has made the world like a global village..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My visit to Ghana, Africa. Whole different world there.. Time is not an issue.. and the respect and honesty to each other is for me as a western man almost impossible to comprehend.
But my visit to the Philipinnes realy beats it all, and made some nice new (CS) friends. eventualy I want to move or retire there.
