Currently 52 years old, living on the west coast of Norway in Alesund. Working in primary school for the last two years with 2. to 6. graders, mostly with one kid with special needs, and generally often making the world make sense to those who'd rather not stay in the classroom :-)
Before this I teached outdoorlife in a gap year school with one year courses - a fantastic scandinavian concept called folkehøgskole. Traveled 7 times in New Zealand with my students, once Hawaii, and lots of outdoortrips locally, where the whole range of nature and activities are available.

Also spent some time beeing a bus driver, which I also love.
One wife, two kids - 19 and 15. My son is traveling with me this May, he's 19, studies music and plays several instruments. The trip to New York is a present for his 18th birthday - a little late.. to encourage to see the world. Looking very much forward to this trip, trying couchsurfing for the first time.

I do have a true interest in meeting other people with both recognisable lives - or totally different lives. I see it as a treasure hunt. I'm a decent listener, and I'm confident that I know things about life, or has experienced things, that makes sense or has interest to other people. I will also always truly appreciate other peoples interest, care and hospitality! Both has kind of been both my job and my attitude always.

Listening to all kinds of stuff. We do have a lot of good, Norwegian artists. Often pop, also jazz, gospel, soul/funk.
