On a bicycle trip from France to Mali with Olivia my girlfriend.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 35 year old French guy. In 2007, I went for a two year overland trip around Asia and came back cycling from Kathmandu to France. After this, I worked for four years in Grenoble in an association which aim to recycle old bicycles and promote bike use in town.

Now, my girlfriend Olivia and I are doing a new bike trip from Brittany (France) to Western Africa. We left at the beginning of October for at least a year and maybe more. We'll see.

I reckon we're rather simple people. We cycle in order to take the most of the road, be able to meet people on our way and take our time. We'll be able to share some time with people who put us up for a night or two. We'll be very thankful. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Some men are wise, some are otherwise.

My aims: No violence, low pollution, less materialist consumption.
Respect, listen and watch people.
Be modest. Don't show off.
Smile and agree with your smile.
Or are they the means to upper the mind?

Interests

Well, I like travelling of course, living the unexpected, chatting about the world with anybody so as to understand it better, to understand and respect this "anybody" better. And if it's around a beer or tea, that's just perfect to me! :))

I'm very keen on photography, street people scenes make a great topic. Happy and smily people as well.
