ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Augustin!
I was born in New York City to Belgian and French parents and I now study Political Science in Montreal Canada.

PHILOSOPHY

I love to listen to people speak in their native tongue correctly. I just think that it is beautiful to listen to because it is their own way of expressing their genuine thoughts and ideas.

I feel that all the human intelligence that now exists is a culmination of the thoughts and research of other humans. This may be obvious. But I feel that we all contribute to this culmination of human intelligence with our own thoughts and ideas, expanding the intelligence that already exists.

From experience, I've observed that at the point people open themselves up to other cultures and ideas, the majority of them share a common set of values and traits such as respect, listening, the ability to appreciate, etc.

I have learned that it is really inaccurate to judge people by their appearance and by first impressions. If I did, I would not have met many of the interesting people I know today.

I've always loved Star Wars when I was a child. I still do now. Just hearing the soundtrack makes me excited!

At the moment I'm trying to read "Das Urteil" by Kafka.
