ABOUT ME

No ! I am not gonna say that I am open minded, social and all those things. ;)

Also, I am pretty bad at describing how I am.
Therefore I am afraid the following sentences will all start with "I" and these sentences will be rather strange and simple.

Strange and simple.

First impression others have: shy, quiet, too sensitive. ( Not really true at all )

But that is only because I get nervous so easily.
I am quiet, yes, but yet not shy. I am relaxed, sometimes worry too much about things.

I am talkative, but in a very relaxed way. Always up for good conversations.

I easily get to know others which is for some suprising ( I mentioned I give people the impression that I am shy right? )

I like sharing a good laughter, and I like to laugh a lot.
( It's such an easy thing to entertain me ; therefore I enjoy all the little things which happen in my life.

But anyways... I like adventures, too, I am also doing crazy weird things every now and then.

In case you see me being grumpy: I might be hungry or tired then!

PHILOSOPHY

I am afraid I do not have any.

I think I try to live my life as happy and simple as possible and even though there are hard times , too, I am trying to take positive things out of them for the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I surf couches ( will hopefully have more time for that soon! ), also set up cs meetings and catch up with couchsurfers every now and then, having dinner together with them or showing them around.

I also try to host whenever I can, but most of the time I am too busy to host, therefore also too busy to travel. There should be more time for these things!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met people through cs which was always a good experience. Everyone so far was amazing in different ways and I really appreciate that I got the chance meeting them and getting to know them.
Always expanded my horizon and ways of thinking in so many ways.
My first couchsurfing experience with Hanne in Liverpool was a very positive one! :)

Interests

I love reading. I am addicted! I cannot walk past a book store without ending up buying a book.
( I also would love to run a bookstore at some point )

I like hanging out at the seaside, I really need to have the sea near me I believe.

I like good food. I love Italian food, also Asian and Indian. I like cooking but I am not good at it. I am better at making some yummy muffins.
Oh well... I think I improved concerning the cooking-part. Yay!

I like yoga and sports in general, I rather take my push bike to get somewhere than catching a bus or taking the car. I love being outside.
I also like swimming, hiking and rockclimbing and geocaching, ha!

I am bad at bowling but still enjoying it!

I am interested in history and there is always another topic I want to learn more about.

( I loooooveee peppermint tea, and tea in general, and of course a good cup of Ostfriesentee with a spoon full of cream. )

The only romantic comedies I like are Bridget Jones and The Holiday.

I love reading, also the classics of literature.
Also, I started reading the Game of Thrones book series and A Wrinkle In Time. Love both series!

Teach, Learn, Share

i think it's awesome to get the chance to share experience and to learn from other people such as language skills and other things.
It's good to know other peoples lifestyles and it's in my opinion important to be willing to learn all the time and your whole life.
I also could teach some German or how to make yummy muffins.
