My name is Koen, a few months ago I decided to quit my job, and travel around the world. I already travelled a lot, but this time I would like to do it different. Beside the highlights, and most visited places of a country, I would also like to meet local people or people who already live for a longer in the country. I have a wide range of interest, like almost every kind of food, I'm very curious about new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I already told, my goal is to meet local people. I'm traveling alone, most of the time is that okay for me, but besides the usual talks I have on the bus or at the shop, I'm looking for more interesting and deeper conversations. I also hope the people who host me can help me discover places, events and costumes that ordinary tourists will miss. There are many ways to find these things, and couchsurfing is one of them. And maybe one day the people who hosted me might visit my country.
