Enjoying my short trip, called LIFE. Making a effort to realise it is a great gift to live, for which in return I do my best to take care a little bit for the planet and her people!

ABOUT ME

Most of the time, 24 hours in a day seem too short. I like music, photography, family, friends, reading, cooking and dining, party-ing and sports.

I grew up in the beautiful town of Deventer, 100 kilometres from Amsterdam. At university, I started travelling, mainly to Asia. During half a year in 2007 and 2008, I lived in Papua New Guinea. From end of 2011 I lived a year in Cameroon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the opportunity to couch surf quite a lot and meet a lot of beautiful people. Among others in Japan, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Australia, UK, Brazil and Russia. Though at that time, I didn't call it couchsurfing ;-) It gave a great insight in the lives of locals, both in a positive and negative way. It added greatly on my inevitably limited view of living in other parts of the world. In essence, people are everywhere the same!
