ABOUT ME

I'm totally a late bloomer. been in school for what seems like forever and now I'm finally able to get out and explore the world... I'm blessed to have a job now that allows me to have some free time with some change in my pocket too. So I'm just getting started and I have so many places to catch up on! I'd love to meet people from across the world and CS is such a great outlet for that. I really want to learn about the different people and different cultures that exist and.. eat the cuisine as well. food is def high on my list -- just enjoying the visual and aural pleasures this world has to offer keeps me searching for the next destination. I want to see it all...if I won the lottery that would be my goal. Oh, I'm hoping to hit up a few big EDM events before I retire that out of my system (Ultra, Tomorrowland/world, GG, BPM, etc... ) let me know if you are interested!

I love live music, shows, etc. I listen to most anything and you'll find me at concerts with music all ranging from country, rap, alternative, classic, classic rock, EDM, chillstep, etc. introduce me to something new too?

PHILOSOPHY

so cliche... but it really is true. life is too short! being in school for the majority of my life with minimal exposure to the world has woken me up to that harsh reality. i'm trying to catch up :)

don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff :P

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to the CS community and have been lucky to have hung out with a few CS'rs already. I hope I can give back and host as well!

兴趣

i'm pretty active. so, anything outdoors -- hiking, biking, walking, climbing, etc. i like water sports but I'm not the best swimmer... i esp love anything in the air.. skydiving, paragliding, I want to do some hang gliding soon. i like the rush of flying without being trapped by windows and for the ability to see some amazing scenery.

also, i love to eat! asian food is my favorite, but I'll try anything :) street food, holes in the walls, fine dining -- whatever, I want to try it! what makes houston great is that there are so many amazing places to eat - if you visit, i'll give you some good recommendations!

concerts - i love live music. it could be the symphony, a geeky performance like Video Games Live (awesome btw), cover bands, an epic EDM festival, rap, whatever. live music is awesome. i also like watching good stand up comedy.

I'm less knowledgeable of all the bands out there these days (hard to keep up!) but I listen to just about anything with a good beat. Anything from indie, hard or classic rock, hip hop, house, trance, chillout, chillsteup... like i said, just anything with a good beat... feel free to introduce me to something new :)

Even though it was over in a second and it seems so simple -- i really loved skydiving in Oahu. The view and the accompanying rush of free fall was just breathtaking!

as far as what i would like to learn - i really want to learn piano again. i also want to learn to speak Korean, Spanish, Japanese..
