ABOUT ME

I'm a Japanese guy who grew up in Canada. Now I'm back in Japan. My wife and I recently quit our jobs here to go travel for a while!

I had been working for the city tourism association as a translator, interpreter, and English teacher for a year. I quit that in April and now plan on making my own little company doing graphic design.

But before I do, I wanna go see the world with my (mostly) wonderful wife!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't believe in helping others for monetary gain. Enhancing someone's life enhances my life. Learning about the world through books and media is fine and all, but in the end 百聞は一見に如かず -> You gotta see it to believe it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now, I wanna stay in Lyon for a bit while my wife studies French. I wanna make friends here and then hop around Europe. One of my goal in life was to go to Oktoberfest which I will be doing very soon!

When I'm back in Okinawa in January I hope to get a bigger apartment and welcome people from around the world!

Probably drinking a shot of venomous snake sake and spewing it out instantaneously out of my nose along with my stomach acid. My body has not rejected something so hard.
