I was born and raised in Japan, however, I moved to US when I enrolled my Ph.D program in US. I have been in US for 15 years. My wife is US citizen and we have two kids. My son is 10-years-old and my daughter is 7-years-old. English is our main language in our house but we sometimes use Japanese. Both my wife and I are runners. We love to hike and bike. We love international food and culture.

I have been married with my wife for 17 years, International marriage is not easy at all. Understanding each other from different background and thoughts is extremely hard to manage. Also, I completed my Ph.D in my second language.!
