Overview
About Me
Hello! I'm Kokichi Nanaura, originally from Osaka, Japan. After working for 5 years as both a chemical engineer and in human resources at a Japanese company, I decided to explore the world and broaden my horizons. My journey has taken me to Canada, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand, where I've been studying and experiencing different cultures.
I really like cooking authentic Japanese cuisine and love sharing traditional dishes with people from around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm passionate about travel, but what I love most is connecting with local people and experiencing places through their eyes. There's nothing quite like getting insider tips from someone who calls a place home, or sharing stories over coffee with people from completely different backgrounds.
I'm planning to explore European countries soon and would love to meet fellow travelers and locals who can show me the hidden gems that guidebooks miss. I believe the best travel experiences happen when you step outside tourist zones and connect with real people in real communities.
