About Me

I am a student at The University of Texas at San Antonio and love to travel. Unfortunately, I have barely seen most of the US as traveling expenses are out of my budget. I've visited family often in Mexico throughout my childhood. As a teenager, I had the opportunity to visit Thailand and Vietnam because that was paid for by family but as an adult, I am self sufficient and pay my own bills now. I have also studied abroad in Taiwan and plan on studying abroad in Japan this March of 2020 (thaaank you FAFSA!!!!) I also have a huge baking hobby and aspire to open my own bakery someday. Since I am not able to eat regular foods with gluten, I have to make everything I crave myself and it's such a great learning experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always wanted to travel but the cost of accommodation is so high so that has held me back. After hearing about couchsurfing from a friend, I decided to try it out.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It really depends on what my host's interests are but I would be more than happy to make tea or coffee or even bake something for them! I love giving what I can make to friends, family, and strangers. I also love teaching/sharing what I know of certain languages, types of music, history, animals, etc.
