I love the outdoors and nature, I love to mountain bike and hope to get better when I have more time! I also run quite a but, and still sometime swim (even though I'm retired).

I'm a big foodie--I love to try the best local foods of the places I visit, but also try new restaurants around me, and cook! I'm obsessed with coffee--I try to find the best roasters, and can be a bit of a Bay Area snob...but really I'll drink most coffee :) I can even roast myself!

I'm also very interested in nutrition and love to find ways to incorporate healthy eating into delicious meals--it helps when I can cook and am not eating out! I try to eat gluten free when at home, but love food too much to follow that while traveling :)

Music is my lifeline. I listen to it daily, and I love all different kinds! My Arizona roots have made me love country and, on the opposite end, trap and deep house. I also like oldies--60s in particular, and of course, the Beatles.

Lastly I love traveling, meeting people, and socializing!! I hope to improve my French, and to learn about as many cultures, traditions, and cities as possible!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I lived in France with a host family for a summer between my sophomore and junior years of High School, knowing very little french! It was quite the adventure and learning experience.

Competed at Olympic Trials twice ('08, '12), now I'm a "swammer". Also swam on the varsity swimming team at Stanford for 4 years, have some amazing teammates :)

My bf and I did some cool outdoor things while travelling:
-Downhill mountain biked from Gornergrat to Zermatt
-Summated Augstmatthorn in Switzerland
-Hiked Trolltunga in Norway in 6 hours
-Hiked kjerag in Norway and took a photo on the rock 😊
-Grand Canyon
-Half done in Yosemite

Toured Christmas markets in Germany

Watched the sunrise over Laos at Pu Chi Fa in Thailand

Many stories from backpacking Europe!
