ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and getting deep into any adventure.

I'm currently traveling through Europe with my girlfriend Carla for a month and heading towards France and Spain by means of Train, Bus, and Hitchhiking.

Although did a Euro trip a few years back, I never made the time to visit France and Spain. This year i'm equipped with a rail pass and focusing primarily on exploring these new places, making new friendships and seeing where it all takes me.

When I return to Canada in October, I'll spend a couple of weeks at home and then head back out on the road as the Tour Manager for a band called The Elwins.

Until then I'm out to explore new places and adventure with new people!

PHILOSOPHY

Music is the only true international language.

I'm multilingual through chords and notes, but I speak best through rhythms... Shall we jam?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just recently started out in the online world of couchsurfing after many nights spent on old and new friend's couches.

When I eventually press pause on my travels and settle down into a place of my own, my couch will be up for grabs indefinitely!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since leaving Tofino, British Columbia, Canada, I've been calling a couch my home for the last 6 months or so around the world and will continue to do so until I cease touring.

My musical tastes include Radiohead to Jack Johnson to Stravinsky to Buena Vista Social Club to A Tribe Called Quest.

I love a well written pop tune as well.

I love getting lost in pages of a good musician's biography. Next on the list is Miles Davis' Autobiography!

On a vacational whim in Sept 2012, I decided to take the VIA Rail train across Canada and it was an incredibly inspiring way to see my own country after seen other parts of the world.

Not only was the experience something so special and unique, but within 45 minutes of arriving on the other side of Canada in Vancouver; I met my German traveling partner and now girlfriend Carla!

If you're interested in Beekeeping, I'd love to talk bees! My father's been a beekeeper for over 50 years and I've been buzzing around them since I was a kid.

I'm also into talking photography too! Film is my true preference, but lately I've been shooting mostly digital. At home when I make the time for it I shoot in bulk hand rolled black and white film and develop it in my darkroom.

I'd also be happy to guide you in other creative and musical ways.
