About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a bit hyperactive medical student, playing with funny molecules. I've always tried to do too many things at the same time, with more or less success, and I still believe, it can work...

I'm deeply interested in litterature, politics, folkmusic, tunes and tales and i love playing on my recorder and searching for mushrooms in the wet forest.

Basicly I'm social, but sometimes I need silence around me. I really enjoy having long and deep conversiations, and to get closer to different world-views and having random fun, but only in smaller company, I don't have enough self-confidence to find my way in a bigger group of people...

Interests

litterature, politics, human rights, folksongs, languages, strange alphabets, different musical instruments, forest, hiking, botanics

Music, Movies & Books

Basically I prefer movies in which you have to solve a puzzle to find out what's going on the screen... and I enjoy psychological thrillers... so the favourites: Memento, Seven, Primer, Shawshank redeption, Pan's labyrinth, Cidade de Deus, Black Swan

Books... Camus: The Stranger; Graham Green: the silent American; Bulgakov: The Master and Margerita; Lem, Asimov, so I'm interested in sci-fi too

Music... hmmm quite wide range. First off all, I adore instrumental music, so I used to listen to classical music, postrock, symphonic metal. I'm a great fond of folk music, mainly hungarian, bulgarian, armenian and I really enjoy world music.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

receiving random home-invitation to a kind family in tiny-winy tibetan village in China.
I hitchhiked from Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur few years ago, it was a nice, long project ;)
I managed to get lost in Caucasus for 2 weeks without proper equipment... since then I appreciate life even more... it was quite much on the edge...
I hitchhiked with lots of unusal people, including war vetarans, drug dealers, local superstar, butterfly collector, you can learn from all of them something interesting

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning: I'm quite curious, so opened to many fields.

I can teach you:

hungarian, russian, serbian, bulgarian folksongs and folktunes. how to read and write ancient hungarian runes.

how to do basic, life-saving medical stuff in the middle of nowhere (quite useful as a hitchhiker :),

i'm interested in botanics, so I can show you which plants are edible or useful as spices, and which are poisonous, and as med student I can explain how these poisons work :)

I recently spent a few months in Indonesia with scholarship and hitchhiked through many asian countries, so can give a couple of useful info
