Overview
About Me
I am currently taking a brake from university. I want to figure out how to do something meaningful with my time that I also enjoy. So I am going on a journey through Mediterranean Europe, more on that in the 'Why I am on Couchsurfing' section. I like teaching and learning, at least if I am interested which is not to hard to accomplish. I'm buddhist since birth and vegetarian, which have nothing to do with each other tho. I'm sporty and talkative but I also like my calm days. For this trip I want to learn about how living there would be for each city. So I will roam a lot, with or without company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My girlfriend told me about it and I am ready to start my adventure. I am traveling through Europe, more precisely I am starting in Barcelona and want to end up in south Italy and visit all the cities I'm interested in. I want to see if I would like living there (Madrid, Toulouse, Napoli) and will enjoy getting to know the cities.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite Music always changes. I like Cosmo Sheldrake and other electronic/minimal techno. I listen to a lot of German indie and indie in general. Some rock, some hiphop. Some Irish folk especially Johnny Flynn. I love movies. Animated like Ghibli Movies ('Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind' is my favorite) but also Pixar like Wallee and Dreamworks like Rise of the Guardians. As to feature films i like the work of Christopher Nolan and mostly art house movies. I loved the old Marvelmovies when I was little. As to books. I am a bit new to reading and really like it. Frank Herbert, Neal Stephonson and Cornelia Funke come to mind. Also i liked the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hard question. From saving butterflies out of a shoe store to climbing and jumping off of a stranded shipwreck into the Caribbean sea during my exchange year in Colombia. That's probably one of the more flashy ones.
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH german/rest of world fusion kitchen and making bread. German, English, Spanish and Maths and Physics? (I taught some of those in schools already). Volleyball. Mindfulness and all about the Dune series.
LEARN/find my way. I would love to learn more languages. I really like learning about (local) culture and the story of every individual I meet. What made them, what drives them, ect.. Also I am interested in almost everything really. Right now with focus on art and creativity.
SHARE time, recipes (including food and culture), space and attention.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a fairly good cook and started making my first well looking and tasting sourdough breads. I have traveled quite a bit so stories I can share. Else just my curiosity and eagerness to philosophize.
