About Me
Hi! I am a jazz pianist settled in Moscow, here you can see my live performance: https://youtu.be/8IKf3FESz9A. I am crazy about travelling and I really love to meet new people in foreign countries, I find it very inspiring. I am an easy-going and polite person, speak English fluently.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to share my experience with new people, to establish international relations. For me, travelling is not about places, it is about people. Learning new cultures, new people and new music gives me a lot of inspiration.
Interests
I love travelling, chilling out, and music. I am studying jazz piano. I am a prize-winner of a competition "Grand piano in jazz", held in Moscow. I lead a jazz trio, and sometimes we have concerts in Russia. I spend a lot of time listening and transcribing classical music, which inspires me and gives me some source for my improvisations.

Music, Movies, and Books
Considering modern jazz artists, I like Nitai Hershkovitz, Dan Tepfer and sometimes Brad Mehldau. I love classical music (almost all). I am crazy about opera, in Moscow I usually go to Bolshoi several times a month. My favorite operas include "Boris Godunov", "The Queen of Spades" and "L'elisir d'amore", which I saw in Vienna. Also I am interested in literature, my favorite authors include Joyce, Proust, Thomas Mann.
