CURRENT MISSION

Coming to Tokyo for an 8 month internship in September 2019. Looking foreward to meet you guys and experience your country. I am looking for surfbuddies to go on weekend surftrips arround Tokyo.

ABOUT ME

Im a german guy, grew up in Bern and am currently living in Zürich . I am a mechanical engineering student at ETH Zurich and am working part time as a teaching assistant. Im a passionate sailor and participated in many international sailing events on various boat classes. I really enjoy biking, road-cycling, bouldering and a generally sports. The thing I love more than most other is surfing. I just love beeing in the ocean and looking at the horizon whilst waiting for another set to roll in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking foreward to make new friends in Tokyo to experience this huge city together. Also I am looking foreward to awesome human beeings with which I can share my passion for surfing and go on swell-hunts arround Tokyo and Japan :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Yachting on the ocean during heavy storms
Building my own sailing boat
Buying a bike in vietnam and drive over 2500km from north to south
Night diving
Surfing "Boilers" in Marocco, the takeoff zone is a few meters from a rusty shipwreck
Studying mechanical engineering and getting to appreciate the world of maths and physics

I can offer help in maths and programming since I am an robotics engineering student (I love to teach)

I would love to learn more about Bhudism (I am already practicing meditation)
