Hey surfers!

I’m Konstantinos, born and raised on the island of Evia, you probably don’t know it but it’s close enough to the mainland, but still an island. Since I started using CS, I’ve eaten food I can’t pronounce, learned how to make Vietnamese spring rolls without turning the kitchen into a mess, and had deep talks with people I met just hours earlier, also made friendships that would last even much longer than a stay.

I’m genuinely curious about people, their cultures, and their food. Yes, I love food. I talk about it a lot. Possibly too much. But hey, I also play the bouzouki sometimes and banging on drums like I know what I’m doing.

My kitchen sees a lot of action: Greek classics like spetzofai, but I’ll happily try Italian dishes and no I don’t put cream in carbonara. And when I’m back in Greece, I grow my own herbs and veggies using natural farming method, which basically means I let nature do its thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Joined CS, back in 2016 when my brother introduced me to the community. At the same week it happened that I hosted a guy that was stranded in my hometown. I joined CS in order to be able to make long trips and get to know locals, and experience better the local people!
