ABOUT ME
I swirl into nothingness and dye the grey arising waves of routine in the colours of little adventures with a brush of narrative. I try to use as many synonyms as I can when I describe to myself life around me. Say no to boredom! Provoke my imagination and I am a captured audience. But I do not write, I talk. I sense speech as if it was a fabric that closes gaps and builds bridges between individuals. For that I collect words.
Also I am skeptic, open-minded, always mean well and have a curious mind (almost to a fault). I don't really have favourite genres, rather collect what resonates with me bit by bit. I want to travel as much as possible and learn sailing.

I am a proletariat who can't live without books and culture. I grew up on a shore of the Black Sea in one of the major resorts/sea ports of Ukraine, so having fun is in my maritimer blood. Studied in universities and college in Ukraine and Canada. Prefer to hang out in bohemian type of places. Love all sorts of music. Like all sorts of art.
I live in Toronto, Canada since 2003 and it has been a great experience. Now that my career is all set I can focus more on discovering the world out there. I hope to go travel once or twice a year from now on and hope to meet as many people as I can.

PHILOSOPHY
Be kind and accept others the way they are. Make world a better place one day at a time. Keep going no matter what!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately, I haven't traveled much in my life but when I did, I realized that meeting locals is more important to me then sightseeing. I think couchsurfing is the best way to get on the inside of a foreign land.

Interests

Reading, theater, world cinema, outdoors and camping, art, yoga, biking, photography, new age. Also learning sailing is a dream.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like the twisted and arthouse ones. Also foreign films, and calways up for anything from criterion collection. Top favourite would be Stalker, Holy Mountain, Bird Man. Of recent, really enjoyed watching Only Lovers Left Alive and Inherent Vice.
Music: thoroughly explored electronic (prefer psy-trance, downtempo and minimal house). Some times in the mood for classical (go to concerts once in a while). Love listening to metal when driving. The rest of the time indy rock, experimental
Books: Classics and Sci-Fi are preferable genres, but I would read others as well. My favourite books are those that rather deal with characters inner self and how it reflects on what's happening to them.
