ABOUT ME
I LIKE: travelling, fresh bed linen, mountain huts, walking barefoot, wildlife and baby animals, feel the sand between my toes on a sandy beach, dusk and dawn, remote places in the nature, marine turtles, couchsurfing, sound of a didgeridoo, australia and its animals, pineapple and mangoes, coconut, birchermuesli, cross country skiing in the engadin, swimming in a lake, brawling of waves and rippling of streams, dreaming, the smell of wet streets in summer, rummage in book stores, ikea, making travel plans, frangipani flowers, fresh air, daylight till 10pm, eco-architecture, watch city lights out of a plane, deep and intimate conversations with friends, acquaintances and strangers, bicycles, sydney, lindt chocolate, marroni, kinder suprise eggs, crabs on the beach, having surfing waves and waiting for good ones when sitting on the board, full moon, ocean breeze, lemon lime bitters, warm autumn breeze, ginger beer, singing while driving, freedom, piano music through the wall of the appartement, surflifesaving, first snowfall in the season, swiss bread, summer storms, walking through autumn foliage and spread the leaves, breakfast, shopping in outdoor stores, meeting interesting people along the road, fresh orange juice, canton graubünden and its dialect, laughing at myself, art on ice, jazz music, mountain trekking and enjoying the panoramic view, recieve letters, iced chocolate in australia, watch the landscape drifting away while listening to good music, meet close friends on the road by chance, quokkas, noisecancelling headphones

I DON'T LIKE: cold rain, bread in (most) other countries, cold feet while trying to fall asleep, cigarette smoke in my face, candied fruits, cemetries, dirty public toilets, dirty pay toilets, to be tired but not able to doze off, long term fog, big black spiders, nudibranches, crowded train compartements, watching tv on holidays, broken frame of my lil'tiger bicycle, traffic noise in cities, making (important) decisions, my voice on tape, anonymous phone calls, x-mas, thriller movies, mosquitoes and sandflies, if it takes 3 weeks to send letters by post, capers, cold water showers, removing wet hairs from plugholes, smoky clothes after being to a café or restaurant, buying shoes (except sport shoes)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First experience: hosted to guys from Singapore in my flat - unfortunately I wasn't there :-)

Couchsurfed in Hongkong, Albania, Turkey, Iran, New Zealand, Australia and Switzerland so far. Each of it an amazing experiance. Thx to all of you!

I like to do all kind of sports (especially watersports and outdoor sports) and be in the nature.
I love travelling and exploring the world (especially it's nature) and beeing part of a different culture.

Books: the power of one, pride and prejudice, das schneekind, a thousand splendid suns, the kite runner, the english patient,... i love to read, but usually there is just not enough time left

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- cycling through several countries for 17 months www.travelo.ch
- seen the Karjini National Park in Australia... aaaamazing!
- met some good friends while travelling - never wanna miss that!
- rowing on Swiss lakes... it's beautiful!
- snorkeling behind a marine turtle - so peaceful!
- experienced the great hospitality of iranian people... i hope i can take one piece of this back home
- seen new years fireworks from the royal botanic gardens in sydney - i wish i could be there every year
