ABOUT ME

Hello World! I am currently a student at UNC recently returning to complete my BS in International Studies: Environmental Politics, focusing on Western Europe with French as my chosen language. I am 25 years old, and I have lived in North Carolina all of my life so I'm ready to travel the globe! Having taken many years of french in school, I decided to pick France as a point of interest in my future job prospects. I still have one more level of the language to complete for my degree, and since it has been many years since I last spoke it, I am trying to travel to Europe this summer to pick up where I left off. My main goal is to experience France's culture while at the same time re-learning the conversational skills I need to graduate and put myself on the job market with dual-language proficiency. Since I am not a wealthy man, I thought this couchsurfing idea was really cool and I hope to meet some amazing people who can help me fulfill my dream of seeing Paris and France like I have wanted to for most of my life. I also hope I can one day live in my own place to provide the same support for people traveling through my neighborhood looking for a place to stay, but until then I am more than happy to guide people around North Carolina when they're in my area!

I am looking for awesome hosts in Europe to help me find places to stay when I visit later this summer, and then offer my services as tour guide to those visiting North Carolina: Hickory over the summer or Chapel Hill during Fall or Spring Semesters.
