Hello !!

My name is Koray and I am a Geomatics (Survey) Engineer from Istanbul / TURKEY. I decided to move to AUSTRALIA / Queensland after I granted my skilled immigrant visa !! I just resigned from my current work which I had been working for the last 6 years and now seeking for a change. It scares the hell out me !! :D

I am an adventurous person who likes to travel and experience different cultures. My friends can describe me as I am kind, thoughtful, open minded and friendly. I am not a superficial person and I prefer to have deeper sense of relationships in friendships. I like to talk about various topics such as music, dance, sports, cultures, cinema, books, art, life experiences, professions, future plans and projects, business, marriage and idea of having kids =) I love kids by the way. (I was never married !) I think smiling is the key to be a better person and I believe being able to laugh same jokes (sense of humor) is very important and provides insight of your personality.

In my personel life: I enjoy playing guitar, tennis, singing, working out at the gym and outdoors, hiking, swimming, dancing (salsa, bachata, arjantino tango), reading, travelling, taking photographs of the moment and spending time with my family and friends. Also I have a particular interest in computer programming.

There are plenty of music, movies & books that I like. Mostly I enjoy reading world classic novels like Fyodor Dostoyevski - Guilt and Punishment, some Turkish authors such as Ayse Kulin, Orhan Pamuk, Sebahattin Ali. However I enjoy reading and watching various kinds of books and movies almost in any categorie that I am interested in. I like to listen blues, alternatif rock, jazz, funky jazz, progressive rock , classic and pop music depending on my mood. Many singers can be in the list like John Mayer, Duman, Teoman and so on.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I left home when I was 18 about for a year to live in USA. I travelled alone in Italy from north to south. I did my master education in Italy.

The last but not the least I decided to move and start my new life in AUSTRALIA !! =)

教，学，和分享

I can teach you how play guitar, dance(salsa, bachata, arjantino tango). I can share some life experiences and jokes. Of course, if you like to learn I can teach you some Turkish =)

In exchange I would like to practice English since it has been a while. Also I would love to hear your stories and I would appreciate if you can teach me how to cook different cuisine !
