Hello, I'm Koree, a 31 year old Kiwi! I've got a three month train pass, a relatively empty 35l pack (now very full), and want to see and thrift shop my way east from the Netherlands and down into the Balkans!

I'm a coffee roaster and tea drinker who loves to share a cup of either. I'm super social and am always down for chats of depth or just a light-hearted, good laugh. Love talking about science and wrapping my brain around new concepts. I enjoy making connections with people, sharing stories, and making memories. You can see 1000 different landmarks, but for me, it's the people that I remember from my travels.

So I am happy to see the sights, thrift shop, and/or eat my way through the city with you or come and go, I'm very laid back. I love being outside, chasing sunrises and sunsets, and looking up at the night sky. Wandering new places, ideally with some pointers from locals, is my way of travelling!

I'm also happy to help you (or your kids) with English! I would love to stay with families too.

I'm super tidy and respectful, and I'm totally happy to help around the house. My head would like a first, and maybe second, date with your couch. 😁🌻

I'm travelling Europe by Train, I love that CS is a resource that connects travellers with locals and creates a real sense of community! Which is something I cherish, being so far from home.

I'm a creative, I've learnt how to crochet as I can't travel with my sewing machine. I love to thrift shop, so I am travelling with an empty bag! I'm looking forward to learning the northern night sky ✨️ seeing old architecture and learning the history of new places.

Music: I'm into a lot of things - love a good air drum 😁 (I think I need to take up drumming) and heavier genres QOTSA, Them Crooked Vultures, anything Maynard touches. Can also dive into folk rock, country, anything late 60s and 70s, or house depending on how I'm feeling!

Book: Name of the Wind + The Wise Mans Fear both by Patrick Rothfuss. Special mention - Harry Potter. I read them yearly!

Stumbled across the Aurora Australis when I went out to look at the stars in the far south of NZ. An unplanned bucket list tick!

Backpacked around Asia for 9 months on a motorbike.

I am currently trying to see all of Europe in the 15 months I can be here. I'm having THE BEST time. 💃🏽
