My mission is to have fun while traveling to amazing new places where I can meet fabulous new friends.

ABOUT ME

I'm me, but I guess since you don't know me that is insufficient. I'm pretty laidback and mellow. I get alone well with people. My two passions in life are teaching and traveling. I've managed to work out a good life for myself teaching abroad. I like to hang out and meet new people. I'm an avid outdoors fanatic. I have too many hobbies for the amount of time in a day but that's life. I guess that sums me up, kinda...

PHILOSOPHY

My personal motto is to gain as much expereince as possible whether personally or vicariously in order to truly understand the nature of things. I live with commitment to my ideals, compassion for others and the courage to stand up and act upon those beliefs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed through an organized group but I've spent many nights sleeping at newly made friends houses. I've traveled extensively through the US and never stayed at a hotel, I only stayed at new or old friends places or their acquaintances. When I was traveling Europe I crashed on quite a few couches. It's always been a great experience.

Interests

The world and everything and everyone in it. Diverse perspectives and open minds. Friendly and funny people. Great books and wonderful music. Anything outdoors, skiing, climbing, hiking, canoeing, rafting.....

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much of a movie buff, but love books and music. My taste in music is pretty eclectic. Classic rock and classical are among my favorites but I love to go out dancing to Hip-hop and rap. I love to read, my taste in books comes and goes, currently I'm on a Tom Robbins kick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping off a 900 meter cliff attached to a man who spoke no English after absolutely no training on my first attempt at paragliding. It was fabulous.
