ABOUT ME

I'm floating wherever seems right, having started in Canada in 2014 and vaguely heading south since then. Maybe one day I'll make it to Patagonia :) It's been quite the journey so far. I want to continue to grow as I travel, through my experiences and the people I meet.

I'm a novice climber and would love to do more. I adore festivals, especially of the Burner variety. Being by (and in) the sea makes me extremely happy, and generally being in beautiful natural surroundings is important – I love cities for a few days, but then need to escape to the fresh air and green! I fell in love with British Columbia and could see myself settling there one day, visas permitting.

I can be quite shy and quiet, but love a good, deep discussion if I click with someone. Connections with people make it all worth it for me.

PHILOSOPHY

Freedom over comfort and security (although this is a big personal challenge). I am working to reduce my dependency on money. Life is about connection and experience, not stuff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had some wonderful times bouncing through various couches on the west coast of north America, and made some friends I hold dear through the process!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Swimming with bioluminescent plankton off the Sunshine Coast, which was indescribably magical. Like tiny exploding stars at the ends of your fingertips!

I also came face to face with a fully grown bear in someone's hallway. Not something I will forget in a hurry!

Very happy to share my editing skills (I'm good with resumes, theses, articles...). Would love to learn practical stuff like fixing cars! And I always need someone to practice my Spanish with...
