HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have hanged out with Couchsurfers wherever I went, had so much inspiration and fun! Man, I love this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed once with Karen in London and that was a gateway for my world discovery. Met up with quite a few CS people for coffee/beer in Prague, Copenhagen and Toronto.

兴趣

I'll always be trying for wakeboarding air rally.

Training to finally be a marathoner.

Latte art, that's my passion.

Targeting 4km swimming under 2:30hr.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Lived in Iceland, Denmark and Canada. Established many friendships in these countries and got a solid grasp on what it's like to be Icelandic/Danish/Ontarian. To illustrate, things like the following I would never have known about:
- Biking around Copenhagen year round
- How much fun it is to get back to old icelandic traidions, eat rotten shark and drink brennivin
- Camping in Northen Ontario and getting ready for bears hunting for out food
- Having a 24hour day in Iceland when there is no sunset for 3 months
- Swimming in Greelandic see in North western Iceland when the water is close to 2°C
- What it's like to get though all the Canadian Immigration procedures to stay
- Take bacon and fry it in maple syrup
- Drive carefully and watch for Moose
- Understand what Greenland connection means for Denmark
- Experience the freedome and hippie nature of Christiania in the middle of Copenhagen
- Hear and watch loones, grackles and blue jays t=on the shjores of Lake Ontario
- Seeing Icelanders in their pride of being the ancestors of Vikings, settlers and explorers

It's been years of discoveries and inspiration and I am excited to share that inspiration with my friends and communities.
