ABOUT ME

I have just moved to edinburgh for the fringe festival, i just had a rough 6 months struggling in London but am very happy to be in Edinburgh now and look foward to further travels in september. i am busking (with a kind of steel drum technology developed in switzerland) and modelling to support myself. I am from Australia, and left about a year ago to travel europe with a few friends. i spent 4 months travelling europe, and its the best thing i have done with my life so far. had so many amzing experiences and learnt so much more about the world and different cultures. my best experiences were times when i was lucky enough to stay with people who lived actually lived in the country, in which i really become emersed in the culture. you can get pissed at any hostel around the world with people from everywhere...but it doesnt beat baking taditional finish pastries in their summer cottage in the far north of finland....and being spanked with pine branches in the sauna to improve circulation.

Music, Movies, and Books

currently reading a book on german philosophers and how the idea of communism developed. i really enjoy short films and the festivals that bring them together. i enjoy most movies with edward norton in them, really enjoy nerdy sci-fi stuff like the matrix, equilubrium and minority report, and quite like movies that scare the shit out of me...saw was good. my music list is endless and always changing. mostly indie, lately new rave. anything experimental and doesnt really fit into certain genres. to name a few, meno mena, bloc party, pendulum, kings of leon, air, arcade fire, editors, interpol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i have sailed up and down the mederteranian sea on a erestored danish ship from the 1930's, i have made hash in small mountain village in morocco with a man who was 115 years old.
