Hi, I'm Kornelia.
I logged here at 2017 but only now, after finishing my studies, I have time to travel.
I studied material engineering. I like to discover new places.
I love urban space, unusual buildings, old streets, sculptures, museums, parks and fountains.
But I think there is something captivating in nature. I live near the sea. The sound of the waves has something calming but our landscape is quite flat and I like heights. That's why I'm in love with the mountains. Walking in the clouds, moving between crevices. Since childhood I spent holidays in the Polish mountains (Sudetes, Carpathian and Bieszczady Mountains).
I like to create/make things. (sewing; baking; cooking; little of ship model building)
On a daily basis I am a calm person, but sometimes I like to do something crazy. I have chaos in my head, but not around me, (maybe it will happen in my room sometimes). ;-)
I like to plan and check everything to see as much as possible and not to miss anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet interesting people, make friends and see a piece of the world.
I think that in order to get to know the country, its culture, it is necessary to delve into it. Scheduled trips will show you nice views, but you will not feel the atmosphere.
In addition, when I am old and wrinkled, sitting in a comfortable armchair, I want to open a photo album and tell myself that I do not regret anything. That I fully enjoyed my life and did not waste a single moment.
