About Me
I finally reactivate my account after having been absent for a long while...
So many things have changed: I live on my own in Berlin now, in my tiny one room loft bed apartment - I have a fully demanding job as a primary school teacher - I am older ;)
Things that didn't change: Still loving traveling and hosting a lot - always up for adventures, stupid ideas and endless conversations - still afraid of heights, spiders and lightning :/
But honestly, we all know how it goes: Technically we are still the same kids running around this world in search for the kicks, answers to our questions and meaningful connections. Yet our minds and backs are wrecked by burdens along the way. So we play safe and stick to the route more often. But not always!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting people so much, listening to their stories and having fun together. I'd hardly ever stay in a hotel, even if I can/could afford it. Going to a foreign country means learning its culture and language. I have no idea why people spend their holidays on a touristic beach... However, I also like hosting people very much, showing them around, making food, helping out with any question there is... I have some really good mates around the world just because of meeting via CS, that says so much about this here!
In Berlin we always hosted people from the US, Switzerland, Hungary, Czech Republik, Sweden and more countries without knowing about CS. Since my former flatmate in Hamburg introduced me into Couchsurfing I started hosting people.
I haven't used CS while traveling myself yet, but definitely will soon.
Sometimes, I might be busy working and have little time, still I can offer a place to stay and some hours to show you the city and give you some advice about where you could possibly go or what to see. Just drop me a message!
