ABOUT ME

My Myers-Briggs personality type is INFP, (introversion, intuition, feeling, perception, http://www.personalitypage.com/INFP.html) and although quiet and introverted, I am very friendly, have a good sense of humour and love to talk to thoughtful and serious people very much. I don't mind funny people either! Particularly I love talking to people from other countries, I find foreigners fascinating and... refreshing :) Through such contacts you begin to understand you own country much better! And in general you get a more 3D picture of the world...

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Buddhist, I don't consider it my religion (maybe not yet), but a philosophy.
I'm now rereading Erich Fromm and he's a big influence, too...

BOOKS. Here are some recent ones: "My Stroke of Insight" by Jill Taylor, Exodus by Leon Uris, Howard's End by E.M.Forster, The Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy, Stephen Fry's 'The Hippopotamus' and the second installment of his autobiography (I'm his huge fan). All time favourite is TOLKIEN.

MUSIC: Portishead, Beth Gibbons, Jacques Brel (seem unable to listen to anything else for long).
Used to like the Beatles, the Doors, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Queen (I still like them, but don't really listen)
Russian music: Venya Drkin, Aquarium, Auktsyon, Vermicelli Orchestra, Umka, Olga Arefieva, russian singers-songwriters, Bulat Okudjava, Mikhail Zherbakov

ACTORS. Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson, Helen Mirren, Jodhi May, Alan Rickman, Colin Firth
