I am passionate about exploring new places and stepping outside of my comfort zone. The last 4 years of my life have had me living in Vancouver, as well as on various ships sailing the Canadian and American waters in the pursuit of my Master Mariners Certification in the future to one day become a captain. I love to listen to travel stories and advice from fellow people. I love to cook and would love to share that passion. I am very active and am always keen on trying new sports/activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My work schedule aboard ships allows me to have long stints of vacation. I'll be backpacking parts of Europe solo. To get local knowledge of places I have never seen before to help enhance my experience would be incredible. I do plan on travelling lots the near future and love the concept that this site represents.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have cycled from Southern tip of Vancouver Island to the Northern tip of Vancouver Island with my cousin August of 2018. We have grown a passion for the sport and plan on biking the british isles in the near future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have played hockey for about 18 years, have been skiing for 17 years, played volleyball, soccer, badminton, ping pong, mountain biked, bike packed, and done a few tough mudder challenges. Anything regarding exercise I am more than open to share my experiences, and will embrace any tips and/or new sports/activites to be introduced to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook meals, and would love to try and create new dishes for my host.

I have lots of practical marine knowledge and would love to answer any questions regarding the marine industry as a whole.

I can share my experiences in multiple cities within Canada and the United States, because of my work environment I have visited many major cities including Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Halifax, Cleveland, Buffalo, as well as living in Vancouver.
