Hello everybody! I’m new to this app but think the concept is interesting. I recently moved into an apartment in Allston but I work so many hours that I don’t get to enjoy it’s convenience. I also plan to travel more and think Couchsurfing can be a useful tool in the future.

I’ve worked for the utility companies for 15 years in the city of Boston/Cambridge so I am very familiar with the geography, traffic/travel, dining, entertainment, etc within the area. I am a musician, more specifically a drummer, but no longer professional. I also store a kayak near the Charles river, which provides a lovely view of the city. I also have a car and enjoy being a tour guide. I can not only show you my favorite places in the city but also, the places you should avoid as a tourist (there aren’t many!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

You’ll love Boston, more specifically Allston!. It is the most diverse neighborhood in the city, sometimes I believe it could be the most diverse neighborhood in the country! There are many different cultures and cuisines that I learn something new every day. I’m on Couchsurfing because I want to share this amazing city and maybe learn about some other cities for future visits. LGBTQ friendly

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed mount Washington and lived to tell you about it! This was one year after having a serious lung infection from Covid so I’m most impressed with myself on that one. I played live music including theater, jazz, symphony, and even cover bands. I jumped off a cliff in Rio and dove under the ocean in the same day. I know they asked for one amazing thing but who’s counting
