About Me

I am a research-student at the University of Tsukuba. My study is about management-related changes that currently occur at Japanese enterprises.

All of my previous researches were also about Japan - so, it has been logical for me to arrive here :з
I have been able to hold this line throughout years mainly due to my interest in Japanese culture and mythology.

I also spent memorable 3 years in Germany while doing my master, and couple of months in Vienna, Austria where I had my internship.

Interests

Listening to a good music (varying from jazz to shoegaze), playing guitar, reading philosophical books, fiction and poetry.

I enjoy changing environments once in a while - so that I can arrive at a new place and get know it better: up to the point when it becomes "mine". I perceive every alteration of such kind as a challenge. Which means: it is well worth the effort of mastering new languages and becoming acquainted with new people.

Finally, I am sure that the best kind of rest is leisure on the open. Therefore, I like hiking, especially in mountains. The most memorable discoveries are the ones made alone with nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Unconventional pieces of art that don't follow popular moods of the crowd.
I hold an opinion that the best way to get know foreign language and culture is through delving into local literature and cinematography. Therefore, I adore German expressionist poetry and selected titles of Japanese anime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Applying for a position of the presenter at students' radio. Back to that times I didn't expect it would work out, since I had no previous experience in that field. But, at the end, this decision brought lots of joy into my life.
