About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world around me and, of course, myself
ABOUT ME
I love to taste new things (although, for a looong time it was mostly in the area of programming): prior to falling in love with the software engineering I've changed a lot of jobs: pizza maker (at the local papa johns), kinda-office-clerk (I have helped my friend's mother with her business paperwork), I've been volontaire at the population census in 2010, worked on the factory with my dad, then I used to work on the construction sites, whew, maybe I'm missing something else.
PHILOSOPHY
Recently, 'do at least one new thing once a day' became my personal motto :-)
It could be everything, from trying a new dish (recent one was the 'pork braised in beer') to karting race.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Pretty much virgin in that sense -- no prior couchsurfing experience.
Interests
In my freetime I mostly do the geeky things, reading books, trying to grasp swimming. I'm riding a bike and trying to teach myself cooking. I used to practice rockclimbing, though this is the thing I've put on the shelf for a while.
I would love to start riding a longboard and playing guitar. Those are the two things I'm planning get on right after my come back to Russia from the trip to the Netherlands.

Music, Movies, and Books
From time to time I scrooble the music that I listen: http://www.lastfm.ru/user/johnysilver/library/loved
In a nutshell I love a lot of different kinds of music, but usually I listen to rock, indie rock and alternative. I really love Ridley Scott movies (almost all of them), the funniest film I've recently watched is Woody Allen's 'Love and Death'
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It may sound boring, but the most amazing thing I've seen so far is the Stockholm subway -- Tunnelbana. Although Russian metro system is said to be one of the beautiful ones (some stations may remind you museum), I was AMAZED with the swedish ones.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can try to learn you programming if you inclined to :-)
