Overview
About Me
Hey there!
I'm Kotaro (21/m) and I'm studying pedagogy in Münster, Germany. Like most of the people here I really love travelling! It's a pleasure for me to get in touch with new cultures and discover various landscapes. Most of the time I'm travelling by hitchhiking, bus, interrail or even by foot and over night I try to stay somewhere in the nature in my hammock. But if I'm staying in bigger cities, it's definetly better to find a local host. I'm looking forward to get in touch with open-minded and intersting people from all over the world! I'ld describe me as a calm, open-minded, adventures and kind guy, who feels connected to mother earth and tries to find an individual way in life without getting influenced by society pressure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on CS to meet new people from all over the world and make new friends. Of course I'm also looking for a cheap place to stay in cities over night. Additionally I'm looking forward to see some non-touristic spots in your city.
Sharing is caring, so I'll try my best to be a good host on your trip and hope that you'll be a good host on my trip :)

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC:
Music always played an important roll in my life. I grew up with reggae music and it's still my favorite kind of music, so I'm listening to all subgenres from roots to dub to modern steppas. Additionally I'm listening to drum & bass and especially to jungle music, which was the first electronic music that could convince me. I also like to listen to cumbia, lofi house and oldschool and lofi hip hop. Generally I would say that I'm open for (almost) all kind of music.
BOOKS:
I used to read books like Lord of the rings, Harry Potter, Erebos, Eragon etc. Due to my studies I'm reading a lot of scientifical articels about socialization, educational sociology (e.g. Bourdieu) and so on.
MOVIES/SERIES:
I used to watch a lot of series like prison break, game of thrones and breaking bad, but now I've started to only watch movies, because I don't want to spend that much time on TV. I prefer to watch serious films and thrillers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I've done ~220km of the camino portugues with a FAR(!) too heavy bagpack.
- Hitchhiked through the southern part of europe
