Hi, I am a university student live in Kyoto, Japan. My parents have a hotel in Shigakogen, Nagano where is quite near to Jigokudani onsen(famous for Snow monkeys bathing). If you are interested, feel free to ask me anything. I can help your trip management :) Also, you can enjoy skiing there in winter season.
I myself lives in a narrow apartment so I can't share the room with you, but I can show some places temples, shrines, restaurants...etc.
