Hello there! I'm not sure how to describe myself, but I'll give it a shot! First off, my name is Kourtney and my boyfriend's name is Matt. Both of us were born and raised in Victoria, BC Canada. I have been working as a health care assistant as well as a server at a restaurant and Matt is a Junior Civil Engineering Technologist. We both enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and skiing/snowboarding. We both love music festivals and have been to a number of them over the years. The next one on the list is Tomorrowland 2017! I embarked on my first three month backpacking trip across Mediterranean Europe with three other girlfriends when I was 18. That trip was in 2014 and I have been itching to get out the door ever since. I have sucked my boyfriend in and now we have finally pulled the trigger.

Matt and I are planning a six month backpacking trip. We are starting off our trip by spending four months in Europe and then immediately after, we will fly over to Southeast Asia where we will spend another two to three months (or until we run out of money!). We will be utilizing a combination of hostels, Airbnb's and Couchsurfing for accommodation so we can meet new and exciting people as well as get a better feel of how the locals live in each city we visit.
