ABOUT ME

I'm almost too normal upon first meet. Being the people-pleaser that I am, I'm very polite and respectful, slightly reserved, though I'm willing to ask questions. The moment the gateway to good conversation has been unlocked(once we get past the boring small-talk), my enthusiastic, passionate side comes out. I get hyper and talk with my hands and occasionally burst out giggling if something is really inspiring. I'm goofy.

I love most things. I find interest in almost anything, at least for a short stint. I would love for people to share their stories with me, or their goals and dreams, or their hobbies. Maybe even just their food. I don't have many interesting travel stories of my own, as I haven't been out of the country, but I hope to have some soon. If you visit, I'll show you around my city and we can discuss anything at all you'd like to.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in love. I believe everyone has some small responsibility for every other person in the world. I believe in six degrees of separation and in that, I believe that we ought to be careful about how we treat the world, because one small action could have a chain reaction to many other people. Let's use that to our advantage and spread warmth throughout the world.

Above all, I believe in honesty in pursuit of good. Not brutal honesty or cruel honesty, simply honesty that is necessary in maintaining balance in the world.

I adore John Steinbeck and Mark Twain. I love any good literature, really. Please feel free to suggest books I should read!

As for music, my favorite kind is anything with a rush of emotion, or that can bring back memories or inspire action. You know the kind that I'm talking about. I also love folk, for it's soothing effects, rock for its honesty and the occasional Britney Spears if I'm in the moood to dance or strut my stuff.

My favorite bands/artists are Horsefeathers, Fleet Foxes, Elliott Smith, Death Cab for Cutie, The Strokes, Bon Iver, Coldplay, Doves, A Fine Frenzy, Nickel Creek, Queen, The Beatles, and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't have much to brag about, but I've had my small moments that I cherish. I'm still waiting on my life's adventure. Hoping to scrape up enough money to embark upon it!

This past year, my best friends and I drove in two vehicles from Michigan to Florida and camped all week long. I spent less than $100 total for the whole trip. :]

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English! Or Spanish! Or even a little French. :] I can also teach you a song on the guitar, or how to cook a tasty American meal.
