ABOUT ME

I am currently a graduate teaching assistant in the Mathematics Ph.D. program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2016 I graduated from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY with a Bachelor's degree in Math and German Studies. In 2014 I studied abroad in Berlin, the coolest city in the world. ;) Since I was 15, I had been competing in a group sport called Winter Guard. It is an artistic sport, involving costumed dancing with flags, rifles, and sabres. I love it so dearly for its expression and uniqueness. Along with Winter Guard, I love reading, painting, drawing, and cooking/baking vegan food. I also really enjoy respectful and deep discussions about politics and religion. I absolutely adore yoga and playing card/board/video games (I LOVE just about all games), from problem solving puzzles to almost all sports. I love nature. I have an older sister and an older brother, who live in Ohio and Pennsylvania respectively. I am excited to experience new things and meet new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in experiencing different cultures first hand by exploring new cities and meeting new people. I am hoping to get more out of my travels by couch surfing than by staying at some hostel or hotel. I am also more than willing to share my cultural experiences with those who want to know more about my homeland and the places I have seen.
