ABOUT ME

I like to try new things and go on adventures (even if they are just around the corner)! I like to be outdoors- go to the beach, go hiking, camping, etc. I love the color green! I enjoy thrift shopping, antique shopping,drawing, painting, knitting, learning new things, laughing, dancing,reading, writing,working with kids, spending time with friends, family, kitties and feelimg like I have made a postive difference in the lives of others. Although I have traveled quite a bit, I have lived in one place all of my life and would like to expand my horizons by exploring new places, meeting new people and doing new things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will welcome any couchsurfer that is a good match into my home. I will travel to different cities within the US and hopefully develop some new friendships!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet had any couch surfing experiences but I am excited to start!

I am interested in art, literature, exploring new places, meeting unique people, finding new volunteer experiences within my community, working with the less fortunate and taking bubble baths every evening.

My favorite movies are Welcome to the Dollhouse, The Little Mermaid, Little Miss Sunshine, Now and Then, A Series of Unfortunate Events,The Nightmare Before Christmas, Big Fish. My all time favorite band is The Cranberries. I also like The Beatles,Creedence Clerwater Revival, The Association, The Chilli Peppers and pretty much all 80's music. My favorite books are Just As Long As We're Together, The Glass Castle, The Secret Lives of Bees, Catcher in the Rye, Running With Scissors and White Oleander.

I like to teach little kids new things on a daily basis. I love to organize and wouldn't mind helping someone organize their closet or even their house. I like to learn about resources in the community that can be used to help those in need. I feel like I am a pretty open person and often speak my mind despite the consequences.
