ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, and lived in the U.S. (NC) for 5 years. I'm a graphic designer, although now I work as a software engineer, but still do some personal design projects on the side.
I'm a geeky, laid back guy, and I really enjoy hanging out with all sorts of different crowds, be it of different interests, languages, cultures or ethnicity, it's always fun to learn something new from someone.
I don't smoke and I'm a social drinker, although I can abstain from if if needed, and I don't do any drugs. I don't know what else I can mention that can be relevant to surfing, but I can say I try to be as helpful and orderly as a guest can be, and can change eating habits if needed, too.
PHILOSOPHY
No need to complicate things, just enjoy life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined CS, and I'm still learning about it, but so far I really like the idea. I hope to surf for the first time soon, and in the future I'll host people if I can too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just getting started, let's see what this is all about :D
Interests
Design, computers, art, architecture, books, languages, food, video games, piercings & tattoos, cars, music, technology, photography (no camera at the moment, would like to get another one soon), traveling and snowboarding, in no particular order. As for what motivates me, that will always be my family and friends.
Right now I'm very passionate about tattoos though, and I started on my half-body traditional japanese tattoo project last year. On the same page, I'm studying japanese on my own right now to try to get to intermediate level next year.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't really narrow thing down in lists like this, I'm all over the place when it comes to music, read whatever I can, and currently I'm not much of a movie guy, although I'm up for making some popcorn and watching with friends when there's a chance.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't really pin it down to one thing, since there's always some amazing new thing that you see or do when you travel. You learn something new, try a new food, meet a new friend, etc.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach and share? Hmm, well, I can teach spanish and english, some italian, some japanese, about graphic design, pretty much anything computer-related, and can provide plenty of information related to tattoos and piercings.
