One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Took a mind-blowing 5 week trip to NZ in January 2011. The people I met and the natural wonders I experienced are beyond the grasp of prose. Second to this would be the three weeks i spent on the tiny Fijian island of Caqalai in 2005, where i gazed upon stars that redefined my concept of amazing! All in all my desire to re-connect with the cultural diversity available on this planet among my fellow Humans has not dwindled since my return from OZ in October 2009 after some 5 years of pure international tomfoolery!
Teach, Learn, Share
My scientific interests/research lie within the field of Functional Genomics. Thus, as one might suspect, I enjoy talking about any/all kinds of science (endless topics really) and how this relates to our experiences in real-time. Always looking to learn something new about the infinitely interesting things in this reality!
